GCC -O1 and clang -O1 will both optimize this function under the assumption that inputs that cause signed integer overflow are never passed: int will_overflow(int a, int b) { int sum = a + b; if (b > 0 && su

SynthID is fairly resistant to this sort of thing, although not perfect.

I haven't encountered this exact problem but I have had LLMs make occasional transcription errors when "copying" hex strings around (e.g. cryptographic constants). They make surprisingly human-like mistakes e.g. a transpose

Sentences with that structure might be praised but semantically it is nonsense. Edit: except for prescriptivists who hate sentence fragments

Fun fact, having page-aligned uncompressed .so files in the APK allows the dynamic linker to mmap them directly out of the ZIP.

AH! That brings the whole thing into context. So to charitably paraphrase the argument, it's something like: "If I used AI to produce something technically impressive, my human input was still an important part of the process. Nob

Normal CTF workflows can involve a lot of research but that's not the point. You can design self-contained challenges with offline solving in mind, and bundle any truly necessary docs/src/etc. with the challenge download.

I've had good luck from "vibe checking" the seller based on their other listings, it's usually obvious who's trying to make a profit vs who's just trying to clear out their unused personal stuff. The latter is

That doesn't work. The thing that made CTFs fun is the fact that the challenges are solvable in a short-ish timeframe, usually a day at most, if you have the requisite skills and talent.

It is possible to bypass Play Integrity on most devices (even at the "strong" level) using a sewing needle. Specifically, you poke the data lines of the memory bus to induce bitflips, much like I described in https://ww

The biggest problem I see with vibecoded apps attached to a db is that the db is configured with exactly 0 access control (even if whatever backend does support it), and anyone can turn up and SELECT * FROM users, or even DROP TABLE users.
