Subscription model like Kagi seems to work pretty well against gaming the results. Their only remaining incentive is to be good enough that people keep paying for the service.

The car industry is still massive in Europe, it's a big employer and in many localities, it's basically the only one. China help its manufacturers a lot, regulations are lax around worker and environment rights, wages are kept art

It's like Google, with all its tracking might, is unable to actually show relevant ads. That, or it's broken on purpose. The proof of this may be that ads on YT are actually completely unrelated to the content I subscribe to and w

To me, the more interesting AI/CAD capabilities integration will be when specialist AIs can analyse models and understand real-world constraints. Imagine an AI helping an architect ensure theirs drawings are compliant with local code o

> building any kind of general-use AI tool or app is a bad choice Maybe not if you rely on models that can be ran locally. OpenAI is big now, and will probably stay big, but with hardware acceleration, AI-anything will become ubiquitous

You can find cereals with a Nutriscore of A. There aren't many, they are usually the ones without added sugar or chocolate, and they tend to cost more unfortunately. Recently got some Carrefour bio (organic) cereals, some mixed with va

Wondering if Microsoft shouldn't have bought Unity, It could have made sense, because of its focus on developer, because of its interests in gaming and because it's a huge showcase for C# and .Net as many of the features of unity

One way to address the issue with gendered grammar would be to ask the user to chose between which of ‘benvenuto’ and ‘benvenuta’ should be used when corresponding with them. That way, you don’t strictly know their gender, you don’t have to

Whether 1 should be a prime number or not wasn't clear-cut for centuries. Current consensus has settled on excluding 1 from the definition, but there are examples of publications well into the 20th century that still included 1 as prim
