I've seen Kungen's[0] hardcore inferno monk die to a DC. That would be so disheartening :-\ [0]: http://www.twitch.tv/kungentv

I'd love to play hardcore, but the friends I play with aren't on board. I love the idea of it (and I've been watching some Hardcore-Inferno players on TwitchTV)

That's good to know! I know the nature of Diablo3 is somewhat mindless, but I want to have to pay attention every now and then.

Additionally, the boss mechanics were extremely disappointing for normal and nightmare, so there's no real triumph the first two times you play through the story. For most of the bosses, you have to _try_ to die.

I agree 100% in regards to the Auction House. Me and a buddy are in the middle of Nightmare difficulty, and we hadn't taken a look at the AH yet. Upon visiting the AH, we realized just how bad our gear was, and we managed to cheaply replace

Knowing HN, someone will surely deliver, and the front page will have 4-6 variants of "Why you should/shouldn't learn computer science"

I'm confused over the significance of the P/E ratio. It seemed like a big deal when I was reading these stories about the FB IPO, but then I got to look at other ratios in tech. Amazon's is much higher than FB's 93.72 at 175.23 [0] [0]: ht

But why get such an attitude over nothing? Seems pretty silly.

I've linked to terrible list posts just for easy references. I'm sorry for making the web a worse place :-\ I'll be much more diligent from this point on.

TwitchTV is a rebranding. Hell, you guys still use the Justin.tv domain for payment. By far the biggest audience on JustinTV were those interested in watching games, so you honed in on that. What's the difference between JustinTV and Twitch

The site was hastily taken off the front page...twice. It seems the flagging mechanism has given some users way too much power, or the submission was artificially removed.

I use google mostly for "How to do x in y framework", and I can get a good response 75% of the time, and that goes up to about 85% with some better phrasing. I tried ddg for a week, but I used g! so much that I felt a bit silly.

I like to set jQuery = pyquery.PyQuery(someHTMLDocumentString) So I can use jQuery like I'm used to. At this point, you can do links = jQuery('a') or whatever.
