My favourite by far is Proposal F - Jan Robert Dünnweller. A sort of retro-modern design with a more restricted use of colour, like you suggest. This one really pops and is quite unique. The others, for the most part, aren't necessaril

I look forward to seeing how Kraft Heinz brands will be integrated into future Star Wars titles. The Mandalorian could turn out to be a fan of Kraft Dinner, for example, and prepare some in the galley of his N-1 Starfighter. Except of cours

Apple’s head office for all of Europe is located in Cork, Ireland. They are not averse to building offices in places you might not expect. It’s not some “paper HQ” for tax purposes, either - they have over 6000 employees there and are easil

As a “night sky enthusiast”, as opposed to a real astronomer, Starlink and other satellites do not bother me much. There’s certainly more of them than there used to be, but the satellites aren’t bright enough to affect your eyes or distract

Wanaka, in the South Island of New Zealand, still has pretty good views of the night sky. You can see an awful lot more stars than you can from major cities. But even here it’s under threat: a recent new retail development on the edge of th

I bought the original iPad 2 on the day it was released (which was just after the Fukushima earthquake in 2011). Still have it. Still use it occasionally to play retro iOS games. Still runs great on its original battery and iOS 6. Still con

Elon Musk himself used to be quite anti-AI, often saying that it was an “existential risk to humanity” or more dangerous than nuclear weapons. He seems to have changed his mind now that he owns a major AI company.

> ”the only remaining conclusion is that some car manufacturers don’t have AI yet.” This suggests the supply of AI is too limited, and there isn’t enough AI to go around. Solution: build more AI data centres.

Just because something is written in T&Cs doesn’t make it okay. Consumer laws have precedence over T&Cs.

China is adding 10 Australias worth of new solar generation every single year (315 GW of new solar installed just in 2025 alone). Half of all the entire world’s solar is deployed in China.

Cars have had that feature ("hill hold assist") for 20+ years now. Even longer for high-end models. There can't be all that many vehicles left on the road that don't have it. Besides, you could make such an argument for

The camera was not actually used initially. With the old Autopilot software, attention monitoring was (and still is?) exclusively done with steering wheel torque sensors. Our camera got enabled when we purchased the FSD upgrade. I do agree

I get the impression that it kind of comprehends the world as a horizontal plane. It’s focused on objects on the surface and isn’t looking for hazards coming from above. Could that be improved? Sure! Is it a priority for them? Maybe not…
