Do API docs actually provide much benefit in practice? Does anyone actually use Javadocs, for example? The problem with documentation at this level is that it's too low level. It useful, maybe, as a quick reference once you already kno

Why is a warmer Earth bad? I'd rather this new climate than the climate of the Little Ice Age. Humans tend to do better in warmer climates.

I don't think you can say one is objectively right or wrong. However, as someone who's programmed for nearly 40 years, the entire issue seems like a fetish. Would anyone choose a language solely based on whether separators were re

Even to win the state lottery you have to make the effort to buy a ticket. Are you saying you've done nothing more significant than having good parents?

In the context of fairness vs equality I've never read/heard a similar comparison to ability.

Age, height, even weight (for the most part) are qualities of humans that cannot be controlled. Wealth is qualitatively different than these attributes. Edit: no one would ever talk about the distribution of "ability at basketball"

The article never defines what fairness is. Another word for fairness is "justice". The article betrays its bias when it analyzes how income is "distributed". Of course, income isn't distributed - it's earned.

The "micro" in microservices is the issue. It reminds me of the "No-SQL" movement. The truth is that EVERYONE has a multi-tiered architecture. The only question is how many tiers you need. It's always more than 1.
