Everyone hates support. Especially the execs who have to pay for their support department. Azure basic support is pretty bad. I am even surprised at how bad some of the higher tiers of support are. I have no frame of reference for other

I thought the same when a friend of mine reported something to Apple. I would guess it's SOP at this point across big tech, unless something is too big to ignore.

My neighbor passed away from dementia recently. We first moved in maybe a year after his diagnosis and had to watch it progress. Horrible. Now a friend of mine who is the best programmer I know has an early onset diagnosis. I have notice

This kind of speculative doomsday fiction is getting a bit played out. We get it, AI is going to destroy us all using social media! Maybe work in Blockchain in there somehow.

Did not realize this. I will have to try it! Late at night of course, my compost pile is by the road. Anyone know if exposing yourself on your own property is considered public indecency? Asking for a friend.

I only rarely saw a bald eagle until I moved into a river house a few years back. That river was one I'd fished since I was a kid. What I've seen has been amazing, all up - the river is far more full of bigger and healthier fish

I code more for fun now, because the proliferation of higher end languages and libraries for practically everything drastically reduces the time to that first "wow cool!" moment. I'm sure it's the same with young people.

Canada has (had?) something similar. Once the movie and music industry got a significant tax levied on recordable media (flash cards, optical media, etc.) pirating became defacto legal. At least this is what some Canadians explained to me
