Blast from the past ! I remember building my last J2ME project ~2012 and struggling to find a Nokia phone to test it

my understanding from reading this kind of threads is that there is no real way to enforce it and the provider makes no guarantees, as your usage can outpace the system that is handling the accounting and shutoff

Tunisians claim they can understand Maltese with minimum effort, is it reciprocal? How close is Maltese to arabic / tunisian dialect ?

Can someone explain to me how such an "economy" can grow so large ? How many people actually care about the skin of the CS knife or gun?

back in the day, I had an automated Github action that would pull and build a polyfill.io image every time there was a tagged release You don't even need to fork the project, you can just extend / distribute

On the other hand LangGraph and LangChain are an absolute pain to use and you end up spending most of your effort in boilerplate hell if you want to stitch together anything useful

100$ / year for comments ? I'm guessing this is not aimed at small blogs with a couple of posts a year

I've gotten into heated conversations with family members because they insist on only using Facebook Messenger and can't understand why I don't want to be on that platform

my interaction with docker is limited to a make file that has a `docker-compose up` command, would podman work if the rest of my team is still on docker ?

The cool down isn't for end users. It is for package maintainers and scanners.

Unless there is a law that says that the fundamental right to privacy is protected then we're bound to repeat this ordeal every couple of years.

This is 100% for headlines and Musk to be able to say "we're open" during interviews. Its actual usefulness is not the point

running a funky chmod command recursively on my root dir and then learning how to fix it, probably taught me more about how linux works than any tutorial or article i've ever read. have fun! break things!

I do miss the axios extensions tho, it was very easy to add rate-limits, throttling, retry strategies, cache, logging .. You can obviously do that with fetch but it is more fragmented and more boilerplate

I killed an intel macbook air as I closed the lid and placed it in my backpack. For some reason (i suspect iTerm) it didn't go sleep, it overheated. When i opened the backpack hours later I i found the insides like a sauna.

Curious about GitKraken, I've tried it around ~2018 and couldn't see why i'd pay for it. I has nice "visualisations" but nothing that actually helped my workflow.
