HN is more like a subreddit than reddit itself. Adding tags would allow the original Startup News users to sequester themselves into the article threads they enjoyed, while new people would join the community unnoticed and uninitiated. Ev

Well, yeah I guess you're right. But you kinda straw manned me there by changing the subject from an indie band and their work to a general genre. I expect more mainstream bands to consistently be good or bad, but not have the ups and dow

No, he's saying that the quality is variable. Sometimes they have one great album and the rest are poor, or an album has a few great songs and the rest sounds like filler.

Single biggest flaw, as far as I'm concerned, is the inability to script the folder hierarchy. If I want All albums folders to be prepended by the release year I should be able to do that. Edit: Also, sometimes I have correctly named mp3'

Thank you. Between your comment, the REST post, and that object store OS, Daiken I believe, it just clicked what objects were supposed to be. Though I'll still need more practice before I really get it.

Post is -2. This is one of those times when a disagreement should be followed by a reason. He cited his reasons, what are yours? Is Psychology Today full of propaganda? Is UCLA a right leaning university? Why do you disagree?

How do you judge misflags? Do you compare against yourself and the other editors kills? Or, do you compare to popular opinion? Which might could be wrong if the community grew too fast. ...Does it help to flag dead articles?

What is the difference? I disagree, I don't know many people who appear to introspect at all. I read that and think that your concept of meditation and my concept of introspection are probably more similar than our ideas of meditation. [edi

I don't think your answer relates as lazy at all; I appreciate the follow up. If I should accidentally piss someone off in the future, I'll now be able to see how our assumptions differ and we will be able to avoid talking past each other.
