Many Democrats are afraid of any "loser pays" system due to the belief that smaller or personal entities won't properly litigate when they aught to due to fear of losing and paying.

Oh, never really found it there. That still doesn't solve the fact that pressing delete will send to trash instead of the archive, in the past it just sent to the archive.

Airmail works fine, except I don't like the layout. Is there anyway to get what Mail.app calls the "classic" layout?

They still did not fix the delete keyboard key issue with Gmail: Pressing delete sends directly to the trash and skips the archive. There's no key shortcut for archive. Which is odd, because iOS 7 has Gmail not offering "delete&qu

Stupid question expecting stupid answers: Is there a reason why Bitcoin can't just be treated and regulated like any other foreign currency?

I wonder if the wording is wonky, but the meaning is technically correct: Not the data itself, but rather key management. The first two methods, 4-digit or complex password, will store a password-encoded key on iCloud. The second "don&

Actually, I had an issue with Mail when I first started. In years past, after an OS X upgrade, Mail.app would show a "Upgrade Mail" prompt before using. Now it appears that instead, it's happily showing a blank set of emails

From the public? Maybe. However, some more tech-savvy sites are hit even harder. Apparently 50% of the readers of gaming site Destructoid use Adblock[1]. [1] http://www.destructoid.com/half-of-destructoid-s-readers-blo...

Those HYIP forums felt, to me at least, like it was Ponzi meta-investing. Many of the HYIPs paid out for a little while to encourage more 'investments'. So the part of the game was to get into early ones, but then get your money o

Just to be clear, this requires a balance in your Stripe account? What if you do not have a balance? How does this affect the currently (already very slow) 7 day payout? If an account is balance holding, and then you withdraw to your own ba

Not so much Xbox Live, they charge five figures for patches: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2012/07/microsoft-comes-under-... The unintended consequence of charging that much for patches is that simple updates just don't happen, and that e

Because I run a physical item e-commerce store, I am against this because I do not trust the states to come up with a reasonable solution. Handling the issue in our home state and city requires two accountants. I shudder at the thought of 5

This is great, but I have to sacrifice a perfectly good iPad to run on the TV out. This would be perfect if the Apple TV allowed apps.

Something that's been bugging me about Heroku is that the dyno price has stayed the same ever since launch: $0.05 per hour. Compare to services like Digital Ocean and AWS (who lowered prices significantly in the past few years), Heroku is s

On top of that why is that silly ABC keyboard used everywhere on TVs? I've seen it on the 360, Apple TV, and the Roku. I have to actively look for where the keys are. If it's QWERTY, I may have to push a few extra buttons, but I know where

Does it have dependencies? Team management can't work, in my opinion, if you have a task named "fold shirts" but it appears and is assigned before somebody "buys shirts".

I'm not interesting in pirating apps, I'm interested in either prevention and/or not selecting iOS as a games platform. Nothing has shaken me more than buying an iPad 3 off Craigslist because the dude couldn't jailbreak it to get free apps.

I live in the states, though admittedly not in a major city. (Tucson, AZ) It's $56/month + taxes for comparable and $42+taxes minimum, both with softcaps. I imagine that for many parts of the country outside of top 50 cities, the price of i

Sounds like a problem with the credit card system rather than Paypal, since it appears the customer used a credit card. If you sold iPhones via Stripe, you're still liable for the same chargebacks.
