Rumor has it that if someone gets offended at a post you wrote online and reports you, PayPal will freeze all of your online accounts in one fell swoop.

In my opinion, HostGator is a joke. They constantly push people to use FTP instead of SFTP. Want to add an SSL certificate to a subdomain? You have to provide them your main account login, which is logged in plain text in their ticket syste

Well the downside to iMessage is all of your messages are stored on Apples servers, waiting to be given to authorities at the drop of a warrant. When I said end-to-end encryption, I was thinking more along the lines of the middle man (Apple

I can't wait for end-to-end encryption to become more mainstream. What would happen if Apple or Samsung started selling cell phones that encrypted voice communications end-to-end and prevented any kind of intercepting? Would the government

I don't think this incident would effect domain name resolution for .sy domains. The nameservers for .sy domains are: sy. 172800 IN NS sy.cctld.authdns.ripe.net. sy. 172800 IN NS ns1.tld.sy. sy. 172800 IN NS ns2.tld.sy. sy.

This is why I will never recommend rsync to anyone. Their prices are ridiculous when compared to something like S3 or Glacier.

Here's the article I read that lead me to write that comment. http://phoboslab.org/log/2013/02/how-much-traffic-is-too-muc... Essentially the site was just one html page that had endless scrolling and loaded hundreds of images. CloudFlare

I live in Cool Springs. I had the 50Mbps service which they recently doubled to 100Mbps (with the same 300GB cap unfortunately). They had been playing advertisements on the radio about doubling speeds and someone in my area mentioned they p

I was really hoping that when AT&T and TW complained that Google was getting a better deal than them that the cities would simply reply "Sorry, but that offer is for new customers only. Thanks for being a valued customer."

If you search for the GIUD that's part of one of the URL's in the code, you can find other places online including someones "Top 404 pages" log. While not widespread (yet), it is indeed happening. This post was from last year, but this mont

I believe Comcast hijacked NXDOMAIN DNS replies and replaced them with their own IP address, causing every non-existant domain name to go to their search page you had to opt-out of.
