I don't know about you, but I can't convert epoch time in my head and I don't know anyone who can. What's benefit is there to posting epoch time instead of in ISO 8601 format?

I highly doubt Apple keeps their master keys anywhere near a public facing web server.

Unless you live in an area where there's an enormous mesh WiFi network with that covers the entire city and handles AP roaming without dropping a connection then WiFi is not an acceptable substitute to cellular.

While 0-day vulnerabilities will always get the best of some companies, there are some security breaches that are just due to plain negligence of the company. I believe I recall Sony getting hacked, and tons of plain-text credit card number

You probably want to use urandom instead of random. /dev/random will block if the entropy pool runs out whereas /dev/urandom will not.

Only 28 and 29 didn't have to do with Aaron. I missed HN the day the news broke. Perhaps it was just as bad. Either way, I disagree that we should stop taking about it. Silencing something is not a good way to address it.

Did you see the HN front page when Aaron Swartz killed himself? The NSA stories are a drop in the ocean compared to the endless Aaron Swartz posts. It looked like this[0]. [0] http://i.imgur.com/QgJo6CU.png

I was under the impression that they used beam splitters to get a copy of the data going over the fiber. It is my understanding that they can only receive data this way, not send it.

I wasn't implying the domain was actually a pornographic site. I was pointing it out so the site owner could potentially get it resolved.

Just a heads up, but our Barracuda Web Filter blocked this domain due to Pornography.

This has nothing to do with cPanel. It's about a third party plugin created by someone with no affiliation to cPanel who wrote bad code and refused to fix it.

This only will not work if your page is loaded over HTTPS and your assets are done over HTTP. If your site and all of the linked/embedded assets are HTTPS, it will work as intended.

Accessing the Applications section also prompted for a password when I tried over the weekend. Either there was more than just the Public Keys that required re-authentication or this was indeed around for longer than just a couple minutes.

I can't see myself using Coinbase after hearing they had directory indexing on the directory with all the payment confirmations. Others may see past this, but for me it's an unforgivable mistake on their part.

I had to do a chargeback to get my money back from Dreamhost. They refused to refund me after I asked for a refund less than 2 hours after signing up. I would never recommend Dreamhost to anyone.

A TLD can have an A record, so in theory you could have a "0 character" domain. You could also use it for email, so a@co would be a valid email address if co. had an A or MX record associated with it.

Why would they need/want f.co? They already own fb.me. f.co is one letter shorter and isn't as easily identifiable as fb.me.
