I think they are asking if you could social engineer access to someone's laptop by knowing their serial and calling enterprise support. Seems to me like you could.

EPS isn't like a seatbelt. Often EPS (like kernel mode AV drivers) is used as an intrusion vector and reduces security.

MSBuild is very poorly documented. MSBuild is really not that good compared to what you get in FOSS land. I favor CMake over it, and personally I very much dislike CMake. The main thing in favor of CMake is you get cross platform.

Seagate mitigated their most famous problems. They were a good bargain buy for a while after that as they tried to rebuild their brand. Issue is now they're too proud of themselves, you're better off buying something else. They mi

It is more precise to say you can fit all of existing mathematics that you can actually check. A number whose only classification is that it is real is a nonphysical entity. In constructive systems it can not be reasoned about because it ca

You don't lose out on the fields you mentioned when you switch to constructivism. Your assertions become more precise. If anything is lost the mainstream thinking is it was not consistent to begin with.

A consequence of HOT in relation to programs is that you can compare programs for equality without running them. I rediscovered this a few years ago. It means that e.g. certain physical simulations could be known to not complete without run

From a review on Lois Rossman's channel it looks like it leaves out major industries, automotive and health, and has been scheduled so it can quietly be killed with no one being to blame. Make sure to keep writing your congresspeople.

Completely disingenuous example. There is usually a warranty for a specific purpose -- you were sold the item to fulfill a specific need. Any modifications done without disrupting that purpose are warranted and can not be used as a reason t

Up until very, very recently .NET was absolutely useless on non-Windows platforms, only supporting the bare minimum APIs you need for web apps. It's still not very useful on non-Windows platforms.

The amount of liability they are taking on is not that great. The fee is usually close to what the job would have cost. In any case, it means "you can do it yourself but..." is pointless.
