It doesn't matter what they will allow. What matters is what will happen.
Science fiction has explored the idea of transnational, nation-like organizations that have more real importance than an actual country. If nations reject bitcoin I suspect that is where we're going to go.
- bottled_poe 5y agoFiction is an odd place to put the trust of your future wealth. Personally, I feel very confident that those who currently hold real power will end up on top. I.e. those with a powerful military and police force who are capable of enforcing actual change. Same as it ever was.
