Lots of water. I have two containers of lemonade mix that I never use because I'm usually too lazy to mix it up. Water is cheap and I'm on a budget! As for alcohol, I usually have rum with coke, or scotch if I'm not paying. Beer and wine

Easier said than done. Rampant delays surely don't help airports or airlines either -- I'm sure they're doing what they can on that front as well.

Simpler solution is probably the opposite -- leave sign in forms as they are and just let space key yield a tab.

Reasonable goals for the passengers don't necessarily coincide with the goals of those running the airports. I think it's reasonable for me not to be treated like a potential terrorist every time I fly, but I can understand why the airport

Airport chairs are designed so that you don't fall asleep, reclining chairs would defeat the purpose.

For me the biggest factors are the lack of physical response (although the mini vibe on Android helps here), and the way touch screens can get overloaded if you type too fast. On my keyboard I can type hella fast, but if I tried typing lik

I use some junky 4 dollar Microsoft keyboard that came with my system. At least, I thought it was junky, but it has the mechanical switch thing he's talking about (I think? there's definitely no rubber inside here, clickety clack all night

Apologies for the lack of clarity -- my original wording was possibly more ambiguous than the one I posted and I thought I had fixed that, but I guess I failed.

Firefox is essentially a javascript browser in a browser to begin with, it's just that Firefox .js works on XUL instead of htlm5/css. The Chromeless project is just replacing the XUL chrome frontend with an html5/css frontend. It's kind o

I want this yesterday. Been working on writing my own custom browser UI in a multitude of different platforms (WPF / XUL / Flex / etc. / etc.) but they were all either buggy or didn't come full featured from the start. All I really want to

Actually that's exactly what I came up with later last night after posting the comment. Lock screens on android are replaceable right? Maybe I've found my first dev project...

I agree it's a good start, makes me want to go check out a store and play with one. I can't really get one though since they're not on Verizon. But things like not having copy/paste are pretty questionable - it's like they're several years

I think you misunderstood. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a lock screen, I'm trying to figure out a way to keep the lock screen (so that it doesn't do stuff in your pocket) but be able to go from phone-in-pocket to doing-what-i-want-it-

Kind of a fascinating read. The UI approach seems interesting, but hearing about all the random things that don't quite work right (or at all) is disconcerting. The Zune Pass streaming works like an expensive Pandora, except you get to pi

I'm all in favor of the physical camera button. I was actually brainstorming today about ways to be able to select which app you want to run without actually turning on the screen (be it iphone/droid/wp7/whatever). I want to be able to ta

To elaborate -- mainstream computer UIs have been mostly stagnant for years, with small innovations here and there. 10.7 seems like a bold step in a new direction. I dislike the idea that the iPad is some kind of magical UX unicorn that t

Similar to a person maxim I've come upon recently: Everything is always more expensive than you think it is. Yes, even more expensive than that.
