Packt used to give away one book for free every day or something like that years ago. Maybe they still do. I downloaded many of them, and there were a couple of actually good books in the bunch but most of them I found to be too low quality

My habit of nearly always opening links to other sites in a new tab helps me avoid that annoyance for the most part. For example, if I browse HN, I open the linked article in a new tab instead of in the same one where the comments are. And

A lot of the royalty free images I have bought prohibit using the imagery as part of the logo for a company. But maybe the platform where the bird graphic was sold did not say any such thing in the licensing terms. In which case, tough luck
