Redundancy is not the same as backup. You may not lose files due to machine failure, but a code error, some data scientist deleting the wrong folder, etc, could easily delete the files. Having a backup that isn't automatically tied to

Congrats! This is awesome. Been waiting for 1.0 to really start digging into Rust. Now's the time :)

I assume you mean Paul Phillips, the co-founder of typesafe? It's true that he admits scala is too complicated; but it's also true he keeps working in it and himself admits he hasn't found a suitable replacement.

Are you using source maps? If so, you can actually put breakpoints in your other source and Chrome will still break on it. I've even done this with Scalajs.

Welcome to the "NodeWebkit" world. Where wanting to open a file bigger than 2MB is considered "unreasonable" and an app taking 200MB of RAM to show a few small files is normal.

When I was there, that's exactly how it worked. Obviously not the case if you were doing OSX or iPhone dev, but otherwise no code on your laptop.

I may be wrong about this, actually. Guess that goes to show you that precise terminology matters here. This python gist appears to simulate the situation correctly, and shows that it becomes 50/50. https://gist.github.com&#

Ever heard of amazon? Go much over list price and people start buying on amazon while they browse your store. People want to test-drive bikes, and shipping a bike back is a pain. Not really comparable.

I work at Radius ( http://radius.com/ ) and we've hired a few different bootcamp graduates from HackBright and HackReactor that we're very happy with. We've also turned down quite a few in the interview process

This is really sad. When I was younger, I used to visit slashdot and skip directly to the comments without bothering with the articles. The meta-discussions were generally the most interesting part. Not all sites are youtube.

It's not prevented. You don't even need to go that far -- there are programs that will get the ogg files directly from Spotify. I'm not going to link to them, but I trust you'll find one with sufficient google-fu.

While in theory this is useful, it's one of the least intuitive parts of python for me. I avoid them whenever possible because I feel "else" conveys the intent very poorly. (And I've been writing python for years.)

While you may find it annoying, the upside of this is awareness. More people are aware of gluten intolerance than ever before, and for people with celiac's and serious gluten intolerance, life is now much easier.
