Not to be a hater here, but I believe by working at the office on work computers, your job might be able to claim the rights to your business. I'd be careful with that one.

Some of those are really lame. 11. If I have children and provide primary care for them, I’ll be praised for extraordinary parenting if I’m even marginally competent. I don't know where the author came from, but I don't think thats true. Ma

21 is a bit strange... that only makes sense because right now we can assume the other person is male. If it were split evenly, men would think the same thing if a woman took them out...

It is funny, but its also internet business 101. Many of the "gurus" in the field never made a dime til they lied about making big money selling their program, when really that was their first time making big money. Also, see Rich Dad Poor

Bill Gates actually made/makes 2 million a day, and he's not alone. But I get your point. 54,000,000,000 / (55 * 365) = 2,689,912.83

Very possible, but now the requirement is you have to fight back and win, not just fight back, which is probably asking a bit much in some cases. Some kids that get bullied even have handicaps, so this probably won't work for them.

True, the perception is probably more skewed than reality. For gaming, PC's are still definitely the way to go, but Mac's aren't quite as marked up as most people think. They do use quality parts.

Your advice at the end there doesn't always work. Sometimes hitting back just makes them escalate the violence.

But you paid 1/3 for it... If you had paid the same for a PC, I can pretty much guarantee you'd be getting better performance on the PC. Mac's are nice, but gaming isn't their specialty.

If that's all hipmunk has going for it (shiny?) than I wouldn't bet on them. Nasty interfaces often win (i.e. craigslist). The guys who started kayak are ex-orbitz people, so they've been around awhile and have data on what works. Don't get

Also, to be an accredited investor, don't you need a net worth of like $1 million? So having 50k lying around doesn't cut it. Although there might be exceptions to that rule... I'm definitely no expert on the subject.

Google search came before adsense, btw. Also, you could say the same thing about facebook. It's not a social network, it's an ad aggregating company who merely used the vast network of people for enabling it's business. Also, magazines, new

1. Physical products probably do need early announcements. The new AppleTV launched recently. Knowing GoogleTV is on the way, I'm definitely going to wait and compare. 2. Control the announcement. Since they had to tell developers anyway (t

Absolutely. I found that speech very inspirational. I'm aware that founding a startup isn't really like that (not usually, at least), but it still threw some coals on the fire.

Just me speculating here, but it makes sense to me that it would be that way. Men who are born men don't really worry about being "convincing," as they've never doubted it. They may worry about appearing homesexual, but that's still differe

If you're doing what you love, why give that up for money and the chance to find another thing you love? Lightning doesn't always strike twice. Also, to rip off Sean Parker's character in "The Social Network", do you want to end up like Roy

If you're intending to follow this advice, don't start with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's a great story, but doesn't really capture gonzo journalism. Gonzo, perhaps, but not journalism. Hell's Angels or Fear and Loathing on the Campa
