If everyone will record themselves in every aspect of their life, that will be a lot of recordings. I assume people will watch at least some of them, meaning that people will be spending a good chunk of time viewing these videos. This also

Dirty minds think alike, apparently. I proposed this very thing to my friend yesterday. He just got a Kinect and I was joking with him about the potential this has for the porn industry.

Yes they have, you just can't play on Live. The service hasn't been hacked, but the machine has. Same with the ps3.

This exists, it's just generally not done because your buckets should be small enough that linear search is fastest. From the wikipedia hash table article ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_table#Separate_chaining_wi... ): Instead of a lis

I've had that happen more times than I can count. It's hard, because all the terran has to do is hit stim on his MMM ball and A-move. As zerg you have to pull off some Robert E. Lee shit to have a chance.

Who thinks losing a leg is easy? It doesn't seem easy to me at all, it seems absolutely terrible.

I know you're not the HN police. I don't even care if you downvoted me. It's just karma. I'm just really surprised that a simple joke has become my most downvoted comment. I imagine in the nearly 4 years I've been here I've said some things

Right, but what's wrong with a joke? It's not useful, sure, but it wasn't offensive or mean-spirited. Other than "this isn't reddit," what could possibly make it deserving of -20? Even if it wasn't funny, is that really the message we want

So he borrows "full retard" and it's fine, but I finish the joke and get -13 for it? This site is really crazy sometimes.

There are a few places around $1050, but those are the cheapest places available. Perhaps my standards are high, but I like a place to be in a decent neighborhood, with appliances from the last two decades at least, etc. Perhaps by bay area

You only play $1200 for a 2bdrm? I swear you must live in a different MV than I looked at. I'm paying more for a 1bdrm in Sunnyvale, and I moved there to save money.

$300 for your own room?

It is, definitely. Getting your own apartment in MV is $1200 minimum if you want something you can actually call an apartment. Roommates can make it cheaper, ya, but it's not that cheap.

Now there's a bubble bursting attitude! When one stock seems to be excessively overrated... it's really that all the other stocks are underrated. I like the cut of your jib, my friend.

Google's not actually as much of a one trick pony as you think, but let's leave that aside. What about Apple? Rocking in every market they are in, except perhaps the appleTV. Who's hotter than Apple right now?

While this is certainly true (you have to a car to low-ride it), shouldn't be expect social groups to be at play with alcohol as well? For example, lawyers tend be to more intelligent (and have higher incomes) than the general population, a

Low-riding your car also costs money, but I don't think it correlates with income. At least not in the direction you'd expect.

As for the short term, yes, people do this. No, it's not something I would encourage. Bailing on your spouse is one thing, but bailing on your children is worse. As far as the long term goes, I understand where you're coming from. It's a bi

Great post. Not everyone's passion is profitable, but that doesn't make it less worthwhile. Of course, there are people not pursuing passions at all, so this post still has value.
