Wait, I thought that you need either a hacked driver or a very expensive license to split up Nvidia GPUs, even within containers?

When I last checked in on Linux running on a 2-in-1 a year or two ago it wasn't good. There are some minor hardware issues with Surfaces specifically (webcam and some other random stuff doesn't work without a ton a work) but what

Good riddance. MicroSD cards are way overused as a storage medium, and they are such a fucking crapshoot quality-wise. We are long overdue for an external variant of NVMe that can take it's place in all but the most micro of applicatio

I love seeing new tool changer designs but the space. It truly seems to be the future of printing, rather than filament changers like mmu/ams/ercf. I've been working on my own tool changer for a spare bedslinger I have laying

I like to write my Python in a vertical monitor, it does reinforce keeping your lines short. There's always going to be examples where you just need to have that one line of arcane garbage, but for the most part I find that I can scan

Am I understanding the article correctly that it's for new installs only? Also is "on by default" the right wording for something that needs a registry change to turn off? That just seems like it's forced with a workarou

I think that auto dimming has made that aspect so much worse. It fails often, and removes that aspect of driving from the driver's mind. They just don't think about it anymore and blind the fuck out of pedestrians and cyclists sin

I'm probably going to get clowned on here, and although I love sqlite for local development, I do wish that projects stop using sqlite as their only option for deployment, or worse, shove a temporary one in the same directory as persis

After having built a Voron and a couple other kit projects lately, I've fully converted over to threaded inserts in my designs, it adds one extra step but it feels so much better than trying to get a machine screw to bite without crack

I love DRF, but we don't really use it anymore for front to back communication. Too much working around the pure REST implementation to get anything done. However, we'll still throw it into our projects because the data folks love

I'm surprised that it's not standard to show some basic performance metrics when using an IDE's debug tooling. It's already aware of the processes that it's spawning so it should be able to keep an eye on them. Just
