I think it is an example of great preconditions for starting a company, even though it will be very challenging to make it work well. Basically, our technology is advanced enough to do this, but it so complicated that the percentage of peop

The best way I know to get highlights from kindle (I only use iPhone) is to click the "My Notebook" icon (looks like a letter paper page), click the export button, and then send to email. There is a notecard option there as well b

I have set up some sites the same way, the only ugly part for me was that I wanted to use the features of S3 web hosting interface, but restrict all traffic to come through CloudFront. This blog post (not mine) describes the problem and the

I'm not sure that it is possible to analyze this, but I'd like to see a breakdown of the >$10 million net worth range based on whether it was earned in America or not. You can change the American tax code all you want, but if i

It would be interesting to calculate: - cost of living in the SFBA - cost of living somewhere other than SFBA but generally "equivalent" in the sense that living there wouldn't be seen as a negative - a average-ish amount of

I like the english language and writing system, it is the most useful thing I know and I can easily read books from 200 years ago. Here is a 150 year old engineering text book that I can read with relative ease: https://archive.o
