I have four kids and would consider this product. Of course, I have similar software monitoring my bike commute for my wife's edification. I'm the one who set it up; I don't feel particularly oppressed. I would hope that my kids would view

Recently my mom witnessed an interaction at our county fair where a woman was feeling symptoms of a heart attack, and feeling very ill. This woman flagged down someone, and handed her her iPhone to call for help. The passerby promptly took

Personally, I figure that if I stay at $BIGCORP I will have far less time to connect with my kids--over the long term--than if I work for myself. I might have to front-load the time a bit as I get set up but this is not a given, given the s

I would like to make it to one of these, but the timing's always been wrong. Tomorrow our youngest daughter will be eleven days old, so we're a bit preoccupied with her.

Actually, it can help if you have a risk-averse spouse. We aggressively pay off our mortgage so that we'll be free of that expensive obligation sooner. It requires sacrifices from everyone, kids and parents--but we're not convinced that the

Look, here's the thing--we're not all your competitors. The existence of other bright people is more or less orthogonal to your success. Even then, they're probably a net positive because you have other people to learn from. Your success o

Message: AT&T expects to solve user experience problems by removing or restricting features, and this is a bad thing. This is of course in contrast to Apple's usual product design approach, which is to solve user experience problems b

I use a CD ladder for this purpose. Twelve one year CDs, each maturing on different months, set to automatically reinvest unless we decide otherwise. Works well for the people who need to have their emergency money a bit harder to get too,

I like reminders. I forget stuff. But I hate interruptions. Make the interruption as quick as possible. To me the advantage of getting a recording is the minimal interaction. I don't have to exchange greetings with a robot. So make it fast.

There are more valuable things to life than money. I challenge this reactionary view that the worth of a person's contribution to society can be measured by their salary. If a person chooses to enrich humanity's lot by providing value outs
