I've worked with someone who looked at the keyboard when he typed, and overall wasn't a very fast typist (I'd estimate < 50 WPM). He made frequent use of tab completion and mouse-based copy-pasting. [Although he didn't use them] there

I've been using Opera since version 4, on Windows. I now use 10.63 under Linux. Years ago, Firefox enticed a little, and nowadays Chrome, but I haven't see anything convincing enough to make me switch away from Opera. It's a solid, polis

According to them, these new extensions will also have [more?] control over tabs and windows, which plain JS (like their existing Widgets) cannot do. http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/getting-started-with-oper...

Personally, I've never found the built in ad blocking lacking. Where it missed anything (which is rare), blocking a specific ad is two clicks or so away. In what ways would you like things improved?

I'd like to add that I strongly recommend that kids read only with sufficient lighting. I'm no opthalmologist, but I do believe the primary (sole?) reason my eyeglass prescription is as strong as it is is because, as a youth, I read with p

I'm pretty sure I would want things to happen more or less only when I take some action with my hands (gaze AND click/keypress). Things opening, closing, raising, lowering, or otherwise flying around purely on the basis of my gaze would pr

Just tried this in Opera. Having never visited the site before, I opened it in a "New Private Tab". Set Opera to reject all [normal] cookies from that domain. Saw an ID number on the page; recorded it. Opened another private tab. Saw a

Here are a few reasons why traditional musical notation is far superior to timed falling bars (such as this Synthesia thing, or Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc). These are elements which provide important and useful information and detail to t

I've found multiple instances of text in more or less official places containing general English problems (spelling, grammar). I'm assuming for the time being it isn't due to outright lack of fluency in English, and so that leads me to thi

I've tried (and continue to try) several programming fonts, but always stick with Terminus. In my opinion, it is the most readable font at 8px, and I like being able to fit as much as possible in a screenful without losing readability. Mo
