I watch more YouTube than anything else on a daily basis, and I would be perfectly fine watching my favorite creators on another platform. If it actually works and keeps those creators happy, then I'm happy. Competition in the marketpl

I'm not going to criticize you for your diet choices. I just ask you don't do the same to me, and act like we haven't evolved to eat other animals like so many other species.

Maybe once we evolve into herbivores, we'll look back in disgust. But until then my kids have incisors and eyes on the front of their face, just like their mother and I, and most predators on the planet. If you want to have a conversat

I've worked with a lot of people who could be charged with creating logic bombs in everything they touch. I guess the difference is they were creating them out of ignorance. But the end result was the same, since the company would begi

I'd be curious to see where this fine goes. From what I seen most FTC fines go to "the U.S. Treasury for general use". Not even Congress gets a chance to mismanage it. Then again, if they take it out of circulation, maybe it

I spend maybe $25 a year on games for myself, maybe seeing something at a re-seller at the mall. I spend hundreds on my son who just recently figured out why Garry's Mod is fun, and is finally able to play Mario by himself and not just

Out of curiosity, what servers do you frequent? Or is it more personal servers that you and your friends run?

This made me laugh, because I was quite young when I first got into it. Though I was never anything more than an op in a few channels.

I miss the wild west, sue me. My entire life wasn't on whatever system I was using, so it wouldn't have mattered if someone messed it up. I don't miss the hardware of the time, but at least the web wasn't sterilized and

I'm glad Freenode has a user base for work related stuff, but I man do I miss when Undernet or Dalnet was still popular. I know I'll never run into my mother on IRC, and it is probably because of the format.

There's these entire ecosystems of people involved in something that most everyone I know couldn't care less about. I don't think I've ever been on Instagram, and I wouldn't go to Coachella if it were free. I have a

I remember visiting the local newspaper as a kid, seeing the presses working. The people had a lot of pride in their job. I don't know what the answer is, but it makes me sad that it's becoming less important to people.

I don't buy that at all. No one continues to use drugs because it's a thrill, or it's fun to shoplift and commit crimes. They continue to use because they're addicted. I don't believe there is an easy solution for t
