I feel your pain, it's scary when you're blind-sided by how deep of a pit you're in. When you realize you're probably in worse shape than the guy on the corner hustling to buy a rock, and you got it from the lady you tru

I was hoping I wasn't the only one puzzled as to why "a reduced ability to experience joy is a key sign of clinical depression in young children" was newsworthy. I hope the money invested in this research ends up enabling som

Nuget dependency management is a nightmare for my team. Mostly because there's usually only one package for a given problem, and you're always at their mercy. I suppose it's a community issue, because npm packages I seem to f

As a developer there's been so many times that I've gotten tired of MS solutions, and get excited about new emerging platforms elsewhere. Then I smirk when MS incorporates that new platform's ideology. Then I'm pleasantl

I'm way out of my element here, but I can't pass up the opportunity to ask a professional how something like Roland Omnes book Quantum Philosophy fits into this back-and-forth between physics and philosophy. I found it in a Barnes

My anecdotal evidence was closer to yours than everyone else's on here apparently. I'm a 35 year old who acts closer to 22 or 23. I wasted a least a decade going deeper and deeper down a psych-med hole. I was on a large amount of

This has been my reason for being against the death penalty for many years. It's hard to justify when the OJ's of the world get a pass due to wealth or celebrity. I never thought of AI being used in this capacity. Seems like we&#

This was my experience. You have to do a lot of downloading and setting up to do outside of VS to get the emulators working. And I never even got the Apple part setup because I don't own an Apple device. It would have been better if th

Thanks, I always thought it was a slick project. It was maybe just above my skill-set when I first encountered it, as I was still getting familiar with angular. If it's going to continue to be around for awhile, I want to give it anoth

I first looked at Polymer quite awhile ago, maybe over a year. I guess I kind of thought it was a stepping stone to Angular 2 which uses a component model, like most of the other latest frameworks. Or that maybe it was some kind of special

I think that's why projects like Elon's Solar Roof have so much potential from a grass roots perspective, blending energy consumption awareness with self-concern (and coolness). If it was a daily concern for most of us, and not so
