I wouldn't really say very differently. Residential AC and Heat Pumps are available in pretty the same spec range. You can make an AC by removing/replacing some parts from a Heat pump and that's what some manufacturers do, me

I'm guessing you're not a lawyer, and I'm not either, so there might be some details that are not obvious about it, but the regulation draws the line at allowing you to do[1]: > any action voluntarily taken in good faith t

In other FS/OS you'd need to use stuff like inotify/kqueue to build your own equivalent of USN Journal, but yeah.

Mono also supports winforms. I don't think they're supported in dotnet (but there's libraries for Gtk, although you could also use Vala with a bit extra effort).

Not a lot of people actually believe that Chile owns it, but it's true that our national registry allowed a guy to register it as his land (he needed to be a land owner to enter a club). It's used as a fun fact by most. The Antarc

I don't know, here's a random news segment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfvrmrYG_-c But I think chileans are ok with people saying we don't speak well, so it doesn't matter too much.

One thing is that pretty much the only place you'll see formal chilean is in like, the news, or official government communication. We're not very formal people, so even in workplaces or school we wouldn't use 100% formal regi

More than any of that, it's influenced by Mapuzungun in a way other countries just aren't exposed - Argentina's Conquest of the Dessert was more brutal, and is the only other modern country where Mapuche land was.

Screen and tmux are almost the same these days. Screen used to not allow side-by-side splits, but it can do that too now.

A far as I know, in raytracing, you bounce your ray from the surface's normal and if it hits a "light source" then it's brighter (by the inverse square distance to the source). Maybe they explained the same way, except t

I believe developers on consoles always pay the console manufacturer a fee per-copy, so not so much, but that's probably the way that pays Nintendo the least. EDIT: Just remembered the second hand market. Carry on.

Nintendo did no such thing. They just settled out of court by owing enough money to bankrupt the company and agreeing to not distribute the work. It means nothing to other people that already have licenses to redistribute from earlier.

There are wifi cameras that will store video locally when the wifi is out, although I can see it'd be a problem if they get stolen while the network is jammed and they don't have a chance to upload.
