Most freelancers sign an NDA before even being considered for a contract or project. It's a pretty standard part of any employment arrangement in our industry. Ask the opposite question, as an entrepreneur; why would you even ask some

Listen to yourself. The last paragraph is utter nonsense. I actually agree that we aren't being told the full story on 9/11 but you make these accusations with zero grasp on the reality of how much work it takes to down a building

This was my interpretation, the largest downward movers across the board were the Microsoft stack technologies. Perhaps, given this data is from a Q and A site, these languages have just gotten so amazing in the last three years that develo

I would not call living in constant fear of a federal raid "just fine" and the aggressive rezoning practices that many medical and fully legal cities use against dispensaries are questionable at best.

These "feel" low to me. For context I'm a freelancer doing mostly front end web work based in MN and comfortably charging 50-60 with relatively little experience (~18 months, three of which were an internship with a creative

If you've ever used a banks website an thought to yourself "This is fucking retarded, who built this pile of shit" switch to USAA. If only for the superior web presence, it's the best thing ever.

No offense, the warm and fuzzies are great; but this is the anti-thesis of intelligent and productive discourse. I wouldn't mind at all if they just wanted to create a safe place for these things to be voiced, but they threaten the int

I think this is one of the biggest concerns for Reddit going forward. Fighting bots can be approached systematically and with relatively decent results. Fighting coordinated groups with an agenda and voting brigades is a much harder beast.

Why is it believable that they got a CA key? Since IIRC you've stated in other threads that having Google's specific key(s) is highly unlikely?

Roughly 1.5 million people have top secret clearance[1], I would personally be alarmed if over half of them had access to data like this, although I can't say it would surprise me at this point. [1] http://news.clearancejobs

So much this. People on this forum have consistently presented very compelling arguments that they don't have SSL keys and couldn't retroactively decrypt collected traffic even if they did. Unsettling then that people I generally

I was under the impression having the ability to subpoena a key or cert from either the CA or the company issued the cert would give the NSA carte blanche on decrypting any (encrypted) data they may have gathered by other means. Since I don

This has been my question in this whole mess, if we assume NSA can and does subpoena the keys and certs as opposed to the direct data (and the NSA were copying data en masse, which now seems likely) would that not make HTTPS essentially use
