Basically by reading comments here, every single person has it's own view. Maybe there are too many variables in the equation to have bigger consensus. Clearly it's a trade-off situation; I am on my early beginnings of journey to

You gotta be kidding me. Good luck using multiple HiDPI monitors. The only reasonable way to use Linux is tiling wm with as less graphical interface as possible, in my case only xterm and emacs. Which is crazy, since it’s 2018. and I am usi

Hugo is still most convenient, at least for me and my workflow. I just pull it with homebrew, created my theme/template, write blogposts in Emacs org-mode (using ox-hugo), host it on GH pages for free, and use custom domain and free ti

I totally agree with you, but I feel like with math theory there is always good chunk of knowledge that needs to be somehow inserted in your memory as is . That’s the most irritating part for me personally. If i find a way to overcome it o

Yes. Talking with professor in front of you, and trying to pull everything out of my head is the hardest part. There I just don’t have enoigh time to sit down think about something and try to prove theorems on my own. And I’ve been on 2 fac

Clojure. It’s built on top of JVM, it’s dynamically typed but it makes so much sense, it’s probably language that makes most sense out of dynamic type system. It really is language for solving problems, if you get past that initial brackets
