Why even bother making this comment? It's completely unrelated and somewhat juvenile.

I can't reproduce this on stock Android. I'd also like to see what happens shortly afterwards. The video cuts off a bit abruptly and I'm curious to see if you can maintain access or whether it kicks you back out to the the lo

If you were playing on a console, the fact that the number is chosen ahead of time wouldn't make a difference. The only way you can be disappointed by this predetermination is if you are trying to game the system with an emulator. This

Bike lanes apparently don't help as much as you'd think. There is a psychological aspect to providing a bike lane that makes car drivers think that bikers are already protected by the lane, meaning, in the end, that they don'

Isn't hibernation actually a potential risk since the state of the machine is stored, which could potentially provide access to restricted files?

I'm also quite curious. I wasn't really aware of this project but all in all this seems a lot less interesting than what SpaceX is working on. I know the two have very different goals but this seems like the touristy equivalent of the Mercu

I'm torn. I absolutely understand what you are saying and I agree but the problem is that this whole sequence of events cannot be separated from the larger cultural and historical sequence. The saddest thing is absolutely the loss of life b

I think you are right. The demographics have changed percentage-wise but population-wise I don't think the number of people who "like to read" has decreased at all.

I'm not really sure I understand this sentiment. I understand that the Rails community has had a reputation in the past of being arrogant but why take joy in the growing pains of a development community? Why foster an "us vs them" sentiment

I started playing Homeworld again recently because I've yet to find another game really like it. I was impressed, considering the age of the game, with how good the ships actually look (until you zoom in too much) and how great the backgrou

It isn't a bad thing necessarily. Just because the vulnerabilities haven't popped up in other frameworks doesn't mean they aren't there.

Minor rant: I requested an invite and got one but they didn't have an Android app and thus wouldn't let me sign up. They were supposed to send out another invite once the Android app was available. I'm probably just being impatient but I am

This is kind of funny to me because just yesterday I was talking with someone who said he would be willing to try it if it cost around a $100 bucks.

I think you might have misread the table. Windows 8 64 bit looks to have about a 1% lead on the four versions of Mac OS listed: Windows 8 64 bit 4.25% +2.40% MacOS 10.8.2 64 bit 1.49% -0.11% MacOS 10.6.8 64 bit 0.78% -0.20% MacOS

In principle I agree with what you're saying but Torquebox has been something I've had to constantly work on whereas Passenger has always been, more or less, deploy and forget. I've been using Torquebox since version 2.0.1 (not that long re

Forget Apple for a moment. I don't understand why so many people are trying to defend the working conditions. Fine, the conditions may be considered fine in the context of China. That does not make them acceptable; it just means that the wo

That's a really strange way of looking at things, in my opinion. There are things in life that you just have to trust implicitly. I'm not saying someone else's code falls in that category but just because it is open source and you can suppo

I think it should be more important. That is not to say that it should not also be functional but within that very loose boundary there should be plenty of room for wide varieties of design.

I think the author is making a flawed argument. OS widgets and the use of Bootstrap across the web are very different. OS widgets provide a user familiar with those elements hints and clues about how to use a program. A menu is a menu is a

Not a complaint, just to let the creator know: when I drag and drop the "window" grows vertically. This resets when I drop the window. I'm using Firefox 10.0.1.

Upfront: I'm using Bootstrap currently for the admin interface of a project. I think the author of the post is getting bashed a bit unfairly right now. In the comments, the author links to a blog built on top of a bootstrap and to be honest
