Would a decrease in overall size count as an improvement? If you are already loading jQuery sometimes it's nice to use jQuery "native" libraries because there is less replicated code and consequently smaller files. Just a thought.

I dislike Gruber so much that I can't read that lede as anything other than antagonistic.

Not in the vein of the topic but I figured I'd throw in my two cents: I just bought the Asus Eee Pad Transformer and I'm really incredibly happy. I haven't used an iPad extensively but from a basic standpoint of having a useful tablet devic

I'm honestly not certain. I absolutely understand where you are coming from and why you included the information you did but when I first read "my project... with 100 followers" it struck me wrong. I guess it's one of those situations where

Are you legitimately trying to clear up any confusion? I am perhaps just being cynical but it did not read that way to me...

I understand that it's not single claims that lead to a violation but a match against many of the claims. Still, if the component claims are things like "using regular expressions to create links" and "using an output device to present data

I don't understand how some of these are even patentable. The use of an output device? Really? Does the linking patent apply only to phones? If not, I've been in violation of this one several times in the past.

Why do I feel like my teachers intentionally made math harder than it needed to be? Some concepts just lend themselves to simple visual representations and just never seem to be taught that way...

I'm actually about to make a dip into using Backbone so I've been holding off on transitioning to CoffeeScript to limit my shock. I've played around with the editor at GitHub though and I really like how CoffeeScript reads. That being said,

I'm amazed at some of the neat effects that can be had by simply messing with a few variables. I'm also amazed at the speed of the script. Really nicely done.

My only complaint is that on a dual monitor setup the maximum link centers the window in the middle of the two screens. Pretty slick either way.

I just wanted to add my two cents because I'm actually just learning Rails right now. I had never messed with Ruby or Rails at all until two months ago and I've actually enjoyed how easy it is to build basic applications with Rails quite qu

I may simply be missing something but I think HTML and Javascript make a lot of sense for basic applications. I've never quite understood why someone would want to jump into Silverlight for an application that simply handles data input and

Sure, for experiments like this that are playing with vendor specific properties. This is an outlier. The great thing now is, for most regular old websites, I can just write the CSS and expect it to work reasonably well in any of the latest

It's kind of interesting that it uses the ribbon brush from mrdoob's harmony. I guess it would make a match more likely if you did it really quickly.

Interestingly the site won't render correctly for me in Firefox 4. I'm getting a nice error about lack of HTML5 and CSS3 support. And, as a fan of Space Balls, the creator misspelled "The Schwartz"...

I'm torn as well. It's a lot of new information to remember and creates a lot of extra work but if the content is more accessible as a result then it might be worth it. I'm also a little wary of the fact that it just seems tacked on to the
