That is a trade-off towards density that seems not worth it where all it would take is a 16 bit NOP to pad and a few more bytes of memory to save on transistors of implementation. Maybe they did the actual math and figured it's still c

Pretty sure this just means moving around trailers on a parking lot / loading lot etc. Because you don't have to warm up the engine, and you aren't far from a plug, you could use these to just reposition the trailers. Also, y

> Requiring a UTF-8 BOM just destroys the happy planned property that ASCII-is-UTF8. Why spoil that good work? So that you know you are dealing with UTF-8. Assuming ASCII only works if you are only dealing with English texts and data.

Hmm, that seems like a mistake because C allows for instruction compression with low cost to decode that is perfect for embedded use which is a big part of the RISC-V usage now. That said, if they implemented C, and then had their replaceme

I mean, I think that is the problem with "insurance" vs "coverage". "Insurance" is about pooling unlikely but costly risk, like getting hit by a meteorite. Unlikely, it happens, but there will be head trauma, C

Speeding tickets aren't the worst because they are in principle disputable, but they are present and real. SEC fines are so rare and late they aren't a real deterrent. Speeding tickets are regular and actually paid and a deterrent

The problem is that what is profitable is marking the case as reviewed. What is needed is skin in the game. Misdiagnosis should have financial penalties like speeding tickets otherwise the optimal most capital-effective solution is a rubber

This sounds like the perfect case for crowd founding. The community would likely support it. I bet some industry partners would support it. If you had a reasonable team capable throw it up there. $1M means 3 people at $330k, that seems feas

I honestly think the part of open-source that matters most is that it really has no compliance. Free to download is good enough. The fact that you can just download it and use it and don't need to go through legal cannot be understated
