I'm not the best friend. I often don't do my part to hold up my end of social contracts. That said, I'm a fairly decent low-commitment penpal. The internet is the place where I vent as well, and it often feels like a void. It

Always down for a new target to aim my discontent at. Thanks for sharing this piece of generative garbage. Time to write some protest requests and fill their logs with trash.

This is the best use of tokens I've ever read. I'm building this skill as we speak to use on our Enterprise Claude account. Wish me luck on a raise!

20-year vet. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment. Runelite has greatly lowered the bar for bot makers. Client injection and computer vision would've only taken them so far. I personally don't see a way out for Jagex. They

If OP is the author, please consider setting up RSS! These are the exact kind of blogs I'm looking for to add to my feed.

This is a project that's always on my mind that I never take the time to flesh out. I can't put my finger on the scope. I don't know if I want a full, Johnny Decimaled PKM platform for my entire life, or topical, dense inform

I wish I could convince my friends online to fall back on email. So many times the "watering holes" have changed, and I've lost some valuable contacts in the shuffle.

The writing has been on the wall for a while. I moved off of Discord about a year and a half ago, after they started gating long-time free features behind Nitro. Then later, I find out that nothing is encrypted in transit on their applicati

I know it's mostly nostalgia, but this was the best time online for me. I was just a teen exploring GeoCities, tripod, and dot.tk directories. I found a lot of good friends in that time. I miss the Glitch/GameShark crews that were

Thanks for the insightful comment. And thanks for taking a minute to read my words. I agree with you. I can be my own harshest critic sometimes. I'll do some reflecting on this over the long holiday weekend. Happy new year!

Insightful for someone just starting to publish content! Thanks. As an aside, personally, as a former RE for retro games, I called creating cheat codes for games "coding". I saw it as distinct from programming.

I'm working on building out a microservice ecosystem on OCI. I'm not formally educated so I just sort of stack things up and tear them down. I hardened my server and I am running dockerized services. I'm also running a web se

I want to start one myself. More of a public journal, but all the same. I keep having fits and starts and things distract me from the habit. That, and I'm never satisfied with my implementation in the end and I always want to try new o

I hit the same roadblock as the above user and it never occurred to me to just cross the barrier with cash and then scale back to free. Thanks for this.

If we organized a content storm campaign we could make this effort moot. Time to start building a portfolio of dummy accounts to muddy the water. Remember... TAILS and fresh IP's for each account, ideally nodes you can get back on with

Never heard of the platform, but it seems like a decent home for a mirror. Owning everything involved is definitely preferred, but there is still a place for sites like this. Shame that discovery is for paid users though.

Thanks. The full page cookie consent with no "essential only" had me turning away from the article. No cookies are persistent in my browser but the lack of perceived choice is still irritating.

These numbers are honestly ridiculous. I don't even know how you arrive to these valuations without seriously fudging things. It may as well say TSLA is worth a bajillion dollars. If your thing is "worth" orders of magnitude

Man, this sucks. The man was a treasure in the R&B space. How Does It Feel is a staple track in all of my R&B playlists. I hope he and his family find peace. Thanks for sharing.

A global rail network. Homestly, I just think it'd be kinda awesome. If you asked your local politicians if it would take unlimited funds to get started they'd likely say yes. Haha.
