I don't think you have to be an engineer to lead but I do think the leader needs to see the vision/goal to properly communicate it to the engineers who make it happen.

And in the upgraded version you can host it on server so you can share it with team members......plus it has a client side to show customers mock ups and such. Although you can add screen shots to the requirements in the free version.

Get your boss a free copy of Visual Use Case. He can write requirements, user stories, list actors, etc and it will automagically spit out UML chart that you can use to visualize the flow when you code. You can get an upgrade to TopTeam A

Ask for a raise, it will tell you straight away if they think you're contributions are replaceable. If you get the raise then you can keep on being the MVP and make yourself even more valuable.

The easiest way to find the right person is to call and ask. Even better if you can find out who his/her boss is and then mention to your target that so-and-so told me I should contact you about a position.....see what I did there :-)

No, I don't even want to use Gmail. I actually do use a theme in Gmail fyi. I would be just as happy with a color choice.
