Well I don’t care that you’re on Tuta Mail.

Did you even read the blog post? It's almost a direct quote > We’re exploring preloading File Explorer in the background to help improve File Explorer launch performance. This shouldn’t be visible to you, outside of File Explorer ho

Same with me on Safari.

It’s only a smear if all of the public comments thus far against Shopify and Ruby Central are also smears.

That's exactly where my mind went!

I’m sorry, but how is that not a coherent train of thought? You may not agree the conclusion, but there is a complete train of thought.

Wait… Microsoft has to have boxed Windows because Windows IRL are boxed? Pretty sure I’ve seen a circular window before.

Do I win a prize?!

Or maybe you and everyone else is of a certain age that y'all need to get your hearing checked more frequently.

I drive through them at least once a week. Ordering is not hard. Talking the order is a lot harder -- I've done that too.

Yeah... that's just not the experience with drive-thrus in Central Ohio.

by PapaPalpatine 1y ago
I have never heard someone describe drive-thrus as a “famously bad experience.”

Yeah, if it’s not sarcasm, it’s a very good indicator that their opinion should be ignored because no one in their right mind would say Teams is better.

I don’t know about advanced Unicode features… but I use them all the time as a backend developer to validate data input. I want to make sure that the password is between a given number of characters. Same with phone numbers, email addresses

I’m not a professional designer, but I like Liquid Glass. If you don’t like it, stay on iOS 18 or switch to Android. Aside from the criticism of icons, every complaint in the article just came across as nit-picks.

I really hate all of these executives trying to shove AI our throats.

by PapaPalpatine 1y ago
No, I honestly don’t. I can emulate an Enum without having an Enum type. I rely less on a compiler and more on myself with automated tests.

What an odd question lol. Yes, people like writing in Ruby. I’m one of the. Switched from C# in 2016.

Let's be a little more reasonable. I don't think anyone is saying we need AI. There are numerous other technological advances between floppy drives and AI that our air traffic control system could benefit.

> Rails UI integration tests took a very long time How many integration tests do you have? I generally only test a few core flows and then leave the rest to controller/request tests.

As a lover of Rails, I’d vote that. It’s known as the single-developer framework.

You’re probably right. I’m sure we can at least mostly automate way our judges too. /s Not every field needs automation.

I’m low-key certain it’s because they started using more React on the front end, especially for the new Issue stuff. The entire UI feels slow and janky like GitLab.

Nah, you’ve got a bad take. I don’t know why but you strike me as very anti-consumer. Maybe horrendous is the wrong word, but having a corporation like Docker accepting applications for an open-source program, and then ghosting those applic
