The problem with that is you're ruined if you lose the court case. Few people would be willing to take on such a massive risk.

The thing that confuses me about fee-based payment businesses is in theory, a Surcharge for a particular payment method should cover the gap. Is there a reason surcharges aren't sufficient to drive down interchange and take fees? Do cu

Some functions are doing jobs well-defined enough that this is sufficient, but there's plenty that aren't and do deserve additional explanation. I don't want to read the code of your function to figure out what its doing. I w

Indeed. Arguably it shows just how good for the economy wind and solar are - they are so easy to install and build that companies that run businesses doing that just don't have any real edge.

Just a technical note, series/parallel has no effect on the power capability of a battery. This is largely linked to the specific cells chosen (whether it's a high energy or high power chemistry). I think the confusion comes from

I suppose there are limits to the size and power of the motors and controllers you want to use, but those inrunners are probably not ideal either, right? I wonder if you could use an oversized hobby outrunner and achieve the same effect (pr

This is mostly because US has these crazy 30y fixed mortgages right? Everyone who owns a loan like that is sitting on huge gains and will find it very difficult to sell given the effective loss they would realise - transitioning to another

This is what a GST/VAT is, but far less disruptive. Taxing transactions that don't actually exchange ownership would be bonkers.

Part of the point is that a lot of these cards would be busted in standard though, so printing straight to modern is a way to still get these kinds of cards out without powercreeping the standard of the day.

Top charge in a lithium battery is very arbitrary. Most batteries can tolerate going higher than the specified 4.2v, up to 4.3 or 4.35v - but the cycle life degradation is not worth the extra capacity.

▲

The rule of thumb is you roughly double cycle life for every 0.1v lower you go (approx. 10% of charge). I would only restrict the full charge level of you never need the full charge available anyway. Eg. I only use about 60% of my phone

It's a capacity issue. You just can't transport as many people with cars. In a completely empty city, the first car handily beats transit. Of course. In a traffic-laden city, separated PT tends to determine how long it takes to tr
