Can someone help me move away from Audible? I have about 20 titles that I've downloaded over the years and enjoy downloading and re-listening to. What's the best audiobook solution I can use so that I can cancel my subscription?

Apologies; I wasn't very serious in my previous comment. I'm not sure how layoff algorithms work, but it is most likely polynomial. Firing people would be linear/sub-linear but candidate selection is probably a bit heavier. M

I think it's unimpressive engineering wise (minus all that Meta does for scale, which we already knew about). I think the business execution and marketing is what's impressive.

I wonder how much this will cannibalize Instagram's engagement-share and thus eat away at Instagram's margins due to lack of ads. By going to Threads, I feel like I've sort of checked off that "I've visited Instagra

Facebook was highly exclusive when it first launched. That same company made Threads. I don't know if Facebook would have been as popular if it had not leveraged scarcity.

You can filter the results on levels.fyi. New offers going back a few years are less than 7 figures (even including sign-on bonus).

Why does levels.fyi say US$542,547 for E6? I count only 6 figures.

The 'trust' factor may play into it too. For years, we've seen Meta and Apple bicker about privacy. I don't think this was just for fun; I think this was for the upcoming headset war we're going to witness. Do you t
