I consider these cop-out answers, but Stratechery [0] and Money Stuff [1] are excellent. I'm bewildered daily by Matt Levines ability to write. Mobile Dev Memo is pretty good and follows mainly the mobile ad industry [2]. Apologies for

The business-level API prediction is an interesting one. Any examples of this right now? Chat and payments are fairly obvious, but what would an inventory management API look like?

I'll give this a shot: 1. Learn React and Typescript. React has taken root in the enterprise and it seems to be the frontend equivalent of Java. 2. Learn about CI/CD: Github Actions is a good starting place. If you're hosting

For the backend and auth I'd prolly use Supabase. For the frontend Next and Vercel, which also offers serverless functions when you need them.

According to Apple Fitness for the past year I've walked on average 15.9 km per day (or 19715 steps). It's fair to say that I enjoy it immensely. The thought of walking being a privilege of certain a subset of the population hadn&

Can you expand on this? Let's say I want to write a backend with Clojure, wouldn't I still need to write boilerplate for auth, the api endpoints and the CRUD operations?

Pretty sure Substack uses node in their backend, at least based on the information from their jobs page[0]. [0]: https://jobs.lever.co/substackinc/69f5ed72-9a51-404d-9db1-20...

Yea I agree with you. There are a couple of full-stack react projects being built now, with Redwood.js being maybe the biggest one and Blitz.js being built on top of Next. Personally, I've been thinking of a project to create Next API
