It depends a bit on the role, we're considering more remote options, but for now we mostly hire people that are in the office part of the week.

Correct me if I’m wrong but: SQLite sounds like: runs on one server. While that will work most of the time, it won’t work 100% of the time. I don’t know the specifics, but I’m fairly sure if a queue server crashes, SQS will keep working, as

This depends on your definition of few.. but SQS costs us more than the servers handling the messages… It’s cheap until you do billions of messages…

Certainly! We have quite a few nationalities in the company, I think over 20. However, for these roles we look for hybrid people, so working part of the week from our (Amsterdam) office.

Cool article. What I've wondered, and the article doesn't touch on: In "normal" usage (not damaged QR codes), what's the best error correction to use, with a fixed output size (eg a sticker)? Using a higher level, r

Thanks for the graph, but I'm looking for others that are "as far left" as heroku - eg offer db stuff (like elements), review apps, etc. I haven't seen that yet, but will take another look at Render!

by PanMan 3y ago
I agree.. but I'm surprised how little Heroku alternatives have popped up yet.. There is new contestants, mostly focussed on more global deploys, but no "Heroku but maintained" that I know of.. yet.

It surprised me the hacking toolkit came in a JBL speaker - I guess they reverse engineered that as well, flashed it with custom firmware, and it had most of the hardware needed for this hack?

Obviously the high dynamic range is a challenge, but besides that: car reverse camera's cost a few bucks, I don't think this would need to be Way more expensive. It also doesn't have to be stereoscopic and 2048x2048 I'd

Just my 2 cents: It's on my todo list to look for a weather provider, but the "pirate" in the name at first made me discard this: I guess the pirate bay made the word pirate something less-legal sounding, not something I&#x27
