You'd be surprised for how many technology-inept users that wouldn't make a difference. They'll still mark the email as spam. It's easier for many people to understand and easier to click.

I wonder if this is a more difficult problem because the "good" ones are taken off the market, potentially forever. Follow the logic, does this leave emotionally irrational people to have a larger share of the reviews than normal?

I find this sentiment interesting. I find BBT hilarious and identify with the characters. I often drag my wife to watch a specific BBT episode to get her to understand the way I think or understand the way I was in the past before I met her

Perhaps it can be viewed in the same vein as Michael Jordan's "for the love of the game" contract clause. The clause stipulated that MJ would be able to run off whenever he wanted to join a pickup game, let him remember why

Funny trivia. Recently, our firewall was blocking a ton of smaller websites. Wasn't sure why. Finally got on the phone with Sophos (our firewall manufacturer) to figure out what was going on. Support guy led me through some trouble

That's gotta finally happen SOME day, no?? I speak seriously.... Of course, by the time it happens, I wouldn't be surprised if we come up with a solution that people like better than IPv6?

With all the comments here about how this is really a silly non-story (a sentiment with which I agree), why and how is it getting upvoted so much such that it makes the front page?

I see that it's still really easy for people to make judgment on what happens to others without knowing all the details. It really annoys me when random stranger know-it-alls proclaim all the answers that are already obvious and tried

Ironically, the problem of spam has created another weird problem. I'm not sure what's the right kind of thing to describe them, so I'll call them the ambulance chasers of the email world. But that doesn't sound right.
