TLDR; To be more optimistic assess good stuff as personal, general, and permanent and negative as impersonal, specific and temporal. Make notes everyday about your assessments and correct them. There is research backing this thesis.

So if this is hard to understand, the conclusion, in simple words: the memory consumption for a javascript editor will be a magnitude bigger than native. In my example 66Mb Sublime vs 620MB VS Code (no plugins)

V8 has some limits on memory allocation. I don't know why. I guess the engine allocators are not optimized to handle very large allocations.

If V8 can't handle it, there is no way Atom will handle it. Some would assess this as major software design issue (yeah I mean me).

pocketsphinx is too bad to be useful. I even tried to train special speech models with no luck. I guess we need something new and shiny here in the open source space, probably based on neural networks

Once ES6 is widely supported, and a transpiler is not necessary anymore, people will switch to pure ES6.

For me SRS worked splendid inside the flashcard environment so far. I'm pretty solid on 500 japanese characters now, but I also learn related words of the characters simultaneously.

I made this app, since I wanted to have something similar to imiwa on android. You can drop in anything e.g. japanese in romaji, conjugated japanese verbs, japanese sentences. It will analyze the text and find the best entries according to
