The first generation of a technology is fueled by necessity. It's often a tiny project with only a few guys, and they portray it as "hey, I made this thing, if you wanna use it too, cool" The second generation is often fueled by things whi

Man, NASA is so desperate for money. Good to see the private sector paying the public for once.

If the power is somewhere, I'd like it to be with Apple or Google, not AT&T. At least they tend to aim for making their customers happy, when AT&T seems quite intent on screwing me over.

The part that scares me most is the thought that Mozilla is willing to give any power back to the carriers. I do not want this, not in a million years. I'll take Apple's walled garden over AT&T's heap of shit, any day of the week.

It told me I should eat a cup of avocado and 2 cups of skim milk for dinner. I'm confused and rather appalled by the thought of having that for any meal. Additionally, I've heard stories of it telling people to eat 8 eggs for breakfast, so

I feel incredibly sorry for Isaac. First he fell into maintaining NPM, now he gets to deal with Node too. Best of luck to him, he's sure gonna need it!

I really connected with this post, because my startup is also in this "early early stage". It's only been a month or two that we've actually taken our idea seriously, after coming to the realization that "woah, we could actually do this!"

I would love to do this, but sadly I have no other (good) choice. We've basically got AT&T, Clearwire, or Comcast. Comcast is fast and expensive, AT&T is okay but cheap (and their tech support sucks), and Clearwire is just shit, p

First of all, documents are not data. If you think it's data, you're sorely mistaken. HTML was designed as a way of MARKING UP text, not for making a DOM tree. The DOM is simply a way of representing HTML for scripting access and whatnot.

I don't think whitespace should EVER be significant, it seems like a very bad setup that's more prone to issues. I also have an unnatural hatred of all things Compile-to-JS.
