This seems like it would be good for filling a similar role to LLVM, providing a framework to take an object and turn it into CSS. I'm not so sure it makes sense as a language to directly use: JSON is nice as a data serialization form

From a quick test, it seems to treat almost every bit of content on a page equally, even elements which are clearly smaller and next to an image. Might I recommend taking CSS styles into account? Large text is usually headlines, <strong

Anger is necessary, but rage is never good. Rage only leads to self-destruction and scope accretion. Of course, in some places, rage is the only way to outdo the powers-that-be. But once you've outdone them, you must switch gears.

I'm saying that the fact that, from his perspective (and somewhat from hers, self-deprecation has awful effects), she had lower standing than he did, probably helped fuel this. Even if it wasn't her gender that caused it, but her

Progress in equality benefits everybody, no matter how much people try to claim otherwise. Diversity is an amazingly good thing.

In all seriousness, it sounds a lot like he was just trying to get some leverage in negotiations. Claim you've got a better option and pretend to bail, then they come begging you (partially since you led them on so far that bailing so

Perhaps not intentional sexism, but I'd say this is very real. Though I think she might want a new coach who isn't going to jump to conclusions.

I had the same thing happen! The expected action of a down arrow on a text-oriented site is scrolling, not "next." Betrayal of expectations is not a good UX.

I think the article was not calling them out, so much as calling out the environment that caused her to be unable to lead. Hopefully we don't get people trying to make it into something it's not (a vendetta)

This is, by far, the most level-headed article on sexism in business and technology that I've ever read. The fight for equality didn't fail, we just haven't finished it yet. But the fight from here doesn't require ange

I'm just gonna point out that the previous update was somewhere around 2 years ago, and it's just now getting retina, so we should be glad there's even this much.

Luckily I was still logged into all my accounts (my Dropbox account suddenly dropped from Google's app like a week ago) Duo seems to be quite nice, I doubt I'll end up using the backup codes. Incidentally, GitHub has it right - &q

This is not at all true. Both are generating your tokens clientside with no internet connection. Try disabling internet access, it should work. As for the mobile number, I didn't have to type that into Duo Mobile when I installed?

I actually just switched to Duo Mobile earlier today because of iOS 7 issues with Authenticator; this just cements my decision to switch. Edit: oddly iOS 7 hasn't autoinstalled this yet.

How old is this project? That's the old download page from Google, and the old YouTube design. And an old version of Windows.

While it's certainly true that PHP is better than it was 7 years ago, that is primarily in the ecosystem and not the language. The language remains as bad as it was 7 years ago, and they seem to be woefully unwilling to actually fix it

Interesting idea, but I find that spatial systems are problematic for people like myself who end up falling behind on their organizing. Personally, I use a tagging model because it's easy and quick enough to catch back up.

I always assumed that the best solution was the votes / age one, at least as a starting point. Adding average karma is certainly an interesting system as somebody else mentioned.

See, my only thought at that was "Really? Ubuntu? C'mon, pick a better Linux Distro!" As much as I love the idea behind Ubuntu, it really cannot compare to OS X (or, for development, a more nerd-centric Linux distro like Arch)
