No crusades for one populae example. More advancements... No being opposed to actual enlightenment, because it doesn't sit well with the institution of power... I am talking about a real man of science here of course, not some egoistic

AI people are a cult as well. They simply follow (an)other god(s)... One of them clearly being Mammon.

The AI bros believe in and promote superficial woowoo. They are cult leaders and con men, not an authority on anything else. I wouldn't take advice from them on anything.

Imagine the pope being a man of science a couple of hundred years back... How much better the world could be.

Definitely my experience as well. No better code, but way longer thinking and way more token usage.

Exactly. AI can produce mediocre or outright bad code no problem. It was trained on the average, not just on Carmack level code... It needs to be checked by a professional. This won't ever change with LLMs or gen AI like it is now

The problem is that most people want to live in cities for whatever reason and, lo and behold, if one wants to buy regional and biological the grain has to grow somewhere on the countryside. But yeah, most people have lost touch with where

Better to replace management by AI. Computers can produce spreadsheets even better and they can warm the air around you even faster.

They are not free. OEM costs money. Hence with every laptop with Windows preinstalled, you pay a fraction to Microsoft, even if you immediately uninstall and add Linux.

Does that have ties to the US? If so it's not playing in the same ballpark. US citizens may not be aware, but due to POTUS "made and maintained in Europe" is becoming more and more important to EU.

I'd like to have non-imperative gui code in Rust. Why Rust? Because I like its power and with recent developments such as subsecond the compile times are absolutely negligible.

I don't debug them every day, but when I do, it takes days for a nasty bug to be worked out. Yes, they make CRUD stuff very easy and convenient.

I think it highly depends on what you're doing. For some work I tend to take a pen and paper and think about a solution, before I write code. For these problems compile time isn't an issue. For UI work on the other hand, it's
