I use Pandoc to write most of my assignments in Markdown with a bit of LaTeX, and then convert them to a PDF via LaTeX. It makes doing small papers really quick and easy. http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/

I submitted this mainly because of the quality of the streaming flash. I've seen many people support Silverlight for its great quality. I think this video shows that Flash can do nearly as good as Silverlight. I've yet to see anyone do stre

Kudos to a great use of the Grooveshark API. I once wanted to use their API in a class project where we had to make a web mashup. It took until 2 days before our deadline to finally get access; and we had since moved on. Since then I've bee

If you're targeting web designers without programming skills, you may do well mentioning something to that effect on the home page. My first thought when looking at it was that it was for people who have never made a website. Also, the "tha

I just recently started working with FlashPunk ( http://flashpunk.net/ ), a really cool and simple library for game development using AS3 and Flex. Game development in Flash isn't going away for a LONG time, methinks.

Forgive me if I'm overlooking some heavy sarcasm, but I'm genuinely surprised. I would have thought more people would have objected to the stereotypes and generalizations that plague this article. I don't know the writer's background, so I
