I have a VEGA 56 with HBM and a 2048 bit bus. It gets crushed by newer cards with far less bandwidth. It was great for crypto mining though.

It used to be possible to disable real-time protection but know it’s not. The UI toggle is only for a limited time and the Group Policy option doesn’t work anymore.

ME was all the features that eventually went into XP but still based on the Windows 98 kernel instead of NT. What made XP great was how reliable it was compared to previous Windows versions.

My daughter’s laptop is 8GB, my son’s is 16gb, my desktop is 16gb. I’ve never had a problem with any of them. Lightroom Classic on my desktop uses less than 8GB of RAM.

I received an m1 Mac with 8gb of RAM for work and it’s practically unusable. About 2gb of the RAM is sucked by the GPU and system. I can keep one WebStorm window open but if I launch docker and run a service, the laptop goes into swap mode
