Is that page in a repo somewhere? There’s a typo or two to fix.

Yeah, I didn’t mean to imply that you didn’t innovate. I just meant that the fundamental baseline for a mesh is the same.

Ah ok so it’s not anything different than the existing mesh tech world, just another implementation. Thanks, I misinterpreted the grandparent comment, it sounded more like leasing existing connections and not routing them to exit points.

Huh, how do you deal with the problem of law enforcement assuming that an IP is a single subscriber? Even if law enforcement believed it up front, it still is a hassle to the users now dealing with law enforcement requests.

I'm saying you should just disengage, and not stress yourself out by overthinking and overreacting. Your life will be simpler and better for doing so. :)

I'd take a look at my comments, rethink it, and realize I probably misjudged the situation.

Where is anybody attacking your identity? What the hell does that even mean. After 24 hours, your comment can no longer be downvoted. There's only one other comment in a different thread capable of being downvoted, and it looks like yo

They're internet points, they mean _nothing_. You are freaking out over a joke grandparent comment, and you're being downvoted here because of your overreaction. You wrote a paragraph to my simple comment of suggesting you disenga

Jesus, you took the grandparent comment way too literally. Take a break, dude, the internet isn't out to get you.

If it got to that point, I’m sure some tech savvy lawyer would have fun with these cases.

I think, honestly, it’s more a bureaucratic nightmare thing. “This wasn’t technically illegal, so we’re not going to comply with your extradition request.” Now it is.

And I'm just saying that, for the company, if they don't take these measures their shareholders and their board could literally throw a fit. These loopholes exist, and if they don't use them they'll just get swapped out

I, unfortunately, can't really blame the company for doing something that's legal. They're literally just doing what's best for the company's shareholders, and they'd be yelled at for doing anything otherwise.

Based on the people I’ve seen doing it, they actually make quite a bit of money. You’ll find a few bad apples in the world, sure, but most of the time you’re not going to get people like this guy doing return scams at a scare large enough t

I imagine depending on the country, and the price of the items, they probably open a selection of these packages to check to see it they can sell open package. But with the volume they’re pushing, its really hard to check every tiny thing.

Yeah .. I dislike the route that Adblock Plus went too, they make a ton of money off of lists like EasyList, and their silly Acceptable Ad (read: how is this not extortion) program.

It won’t work like that, though. It’ll just mean that the 125 the vast majority of people expected will probably end up at 25 bucks each, depending on how many people requested the cash payout.

Like a certain sized company, Microsoft? And that's why we're in this situation, because frankly Microsoft is big enough to get slapped hard if they didn't comply.
