This is dangerous though because then the reaction is always "oh well yeah they must have been redisposed" with no real evidence other than hear say. It was a side effect, a bad one, that requires more study. This thinking though

As others have said go do something else if that can happen then switch domains and work on something you consider fun either because you like the domain or the challenge. Trying to push through with coding doesn't work. Another trick

Lull in productivity, bad developers would suddenly stick out and either learn to "learn" or be replaced and productivity/quality would improve. It's all prospective :)
