My Apple ID is a personal email address at a custom domain name. I also use the same email address as a Microsoft ID. How would/should/could a service be expected to take my email and determine what services it is associated with?

I use Duet for my iPad to get a 2nd screen for my laptop. It’s not perfect but it works. If I used a Mac I’d be excited to try the new “sidecar” second screen function Apple just unveiled. But of course it doesn’t work with a PC. Anyway thi

Indeed, I enjoyed that trilogy a lot more than I had expected I would. Oddly, the thing I think about most nowadays is I think in the second or third book, their methods for facial detection evasion with the face paint. Also relevant nowada

I too have had this experience. Now I always sample one from a pack before I buy. I used to feel guilty doing that, but the quality varies so much and I got sick of wasting fruit purchases when they turn out to be sour or gross. Same with g

I’ve had to use AMEX travel several times to book flights for business reasons, and it’s always substantially more expensive than I could get if I booked it myself. Even with 25% off I’m still not certain it’s a good deal. Edit: just realiz

But let’s say you want something that tracks your app usage, before Apple had built that into the operating system. There’s no good APIs to do that, certainly for privacy reasons because many app developers are sleazy, but having it not be

Most of the airplane seat-back media centers I’ve used seem to be running Android. Although I was just on an Air China flight that appeared to be using either Windows CE or QNX or something non-standard.

I’ve been building apps for Windows for over a decade (we used to call them programs or software) and this isn’t exactly a problem there. The problem is strong centralized App Store control, not native app development.

I feel like what you and the other replies are saying is WeWork is super trendy and hip whereas Regus feels old-fashioned and stuffy. This feels surprisingly superficial to me. 1. The old fashioned office feel at Regus is not necessarily a

One thing I never see mentioned in any analysis of WeWork is Regus, which does more or less the same thing but with less fanfare. They’ve been running coworking spaces and short term office rentals around the world for a long time. Do the t

Even Apple doesn’t care about the iPhone SE anymore. I installed the iOS 13 beta on my iPhone SE and in several places the built in apps or parts of the operating system don’t properly fit on the screen. It’s a shame
