I use ConnectRPC (proto). I definitely do not spend any extra time. In fact the generated types for my backend and frontend saves me time.

Happy to have a Starlink rival. Unhappy it's Amazon. Hopeful for a European company to fill the void.

You're too cheap. Anyone that won't pay for a proper enterprise support contract you should tell to pound sand. You'll be surprised that when you start charging more people will actually take you more seriously and will be mo

If this is true, and I’m not saying it isn’t or that there isn’t an element of truth to it, how do you explain how heavily Asian children are featured in gifted child programs?

You're not wrong . But I think you fail to realise that everything you did on computers in the late 90s and early 2000s had friction by default. Even on Windows. Modern devices are friction free and designed to passively hold your att

Fortnite will work with Heroic Games Launcher. Though I believe you may run a higher risk than normal of being banned by Epic for cheating. So try not to be too good.

What's truly wild when you think about it, is that the computer on the other end is often less powerful than your personal laptop. I access websites on a 64gb, 16 core device. I deploy them to a 16gb, 4 core server.

I don't run Windows at home. My gaming PC is running Ubuntu. Very rarely do games not work perfectly. It's also usually underfunded indie games.

I wonder how many of those “average users” will actually happily pay what the true cost is though? Are they really getting perceivable value for it or is it just more convenient than present day Google.

But with TIDAL I cut them some slack because they're not a multibillion dollar behemoth. I do wish they'd improve their CarPlay search results though. I hate asking for a well known song and getting some obscure EDM remix.

Once we have kids we are now more involved with our kids. For better or for worse. We sacrifice time so our kids can have hobbies and extra curriculars. We work hard so we can afford it all. Violins aren't cheap.
