I think what makes a difference is how you react when something goes wrong. Do you flip out and pull your hair out and complain? Or do you calmly try to understand what the problem is, spend some time figuring out what YOU did to create the

I just bought the book and the preview chapter is what convinced me that the book was worth owning. The content was new to me and it was obvious you've put in a lot of effort. I'm just at the beginning stages of iOS development and I though

I have a friend from Italy who finds it odd that Americans demand quick service. He once said that he used TripAdvisor to find a restaurant and the place was rated low because service was slow although the food was great. I suppose we all e

Where do you live? I'm in Southern Arizona and there are a variety of places (upscale to roadside carts) that offer Mexican food that's similar to Sonoran cuisine. You just need to travel south. And I'll throw in my two cents. I've never us

The ATH M50s are the first pair of proper over-head headphones that I've owned. I think they sound fantastic with just my iPod, desktop or laptop (via headphone output) and they come alive when connected to my amplifier. I own a pair of Shu

The low volume & high margin fashion site probably has a good chance of being successful as long as it carries recognizable and fashionable brands. The reason I say that is that sites like Net-a-Porter and MrPorter (which probably are m

The description of the vulnerability reminds me a lot about how Stuxnet exploited weaknesses with shortcuts unknowingly loading a malicious dll.

Good job on mentioning Eon. I just finished it a few days ago and I liked it quite a bit. I bought it a long time ago as part of Gollancz's space opera series. The whole series features awesome cover designs by Sanda Zahirovic http://bookc

If you don't mind would you elaborate on what type of content you meant when you said: "centralized authority produces the content for passive users to consume". When I think of content the first thing that comes to mind is stuff like image

I try to commit when I have made enough changes so that builds and functionality don't break but not everything is 100% done either. My commit comment will describe what I was doing and what I changed. If unit tests pass then I think it's f

I recommend checking out Stanfords CS193p courses. Here's a link to their videos in iTunes. You'll need to search around to find the documents for homework. The lectures help a lot in understanding Objective-C. http://itunes.apple.com/us/p
