Aye, bandcamp is the go-to. It's funny that the further production gets from someones bedroom the less likely you are to be able to buy a lossless version. All that production for a 192kbps MP3...

As another music-purchaser, it's annoying how difficult it is to buy FLAC releases of bigger artists.

Why should I treat my Arch installation as hostile? Seems unreasonably paranoid.

Disable all antivirsus capabilities, microcode and spectre/meltdown mitigations... Can't believe NSO group is here doing some weird psyop. Very funny.

Underrated basically always means "I really like it but no one in my social circles has brought it up unprompted", in my experience. Really annoys me. Saw someone call the The Wild Robot, nominated for 3 Oscars, underrated the oth

Same here about not wanting to compromise on email reliability. I self host most things, run Linux, DDG, custom rom without Google Play, etc etc. But I've still got my @outlook.com email address.

I googled some pre-workout and it seems to be about 200mg of caffeine, same as a can of Monster. I've drank 2 cans of Monster back-to-back a few times in my life and still not felt jittery. I largely share experience with Kiro, I don&#

I know you know what paying for something means, so I don't know why you wasted your time on this comment.

He has a different video where he makes such a screen, actually. I was kinda surprised when I saw this video pop up, thinking "Didn't he do this already?"

Sure you're not thinking of the PS3 or did both of them actually suffer the same issue?

You don't know if they would be willing to pay or not. I'd be willing to pay for a browser which truly had its users best in mind. As far as I know, no such browser exists.

Is the man who's seemingly acting as the 2nd in command of the current president of the US really a "internet celebrity"? That feels off.

Those rules are generally not put in place by users though, they're put in place by other maintainers right?

I've had a setup similar to what you're describing using Kodi with various addons. But it's really precarious and for too much effort. Stremio is treating me well these days.

What your exact issues with quod libet? As someone who's main criteria were (1) replaygain support (2) good album artist sort and (3) simple interface, quod libet is where I landed. What are the own goals you speak of?

Definitionally there is no action that you will or can take about the things I said not to worry about, since I made that the condition. Comon man, at least read the comment. I didn't say "never worry about anything ever".

For sure. I feel like the arch joke has played itself out. I use arch, btw.

Will worrying stop Trump? I believe that is the overarching point here. Stressing over things you can't/won't impact is largely a waste of time and energy. Your worry wont help Gaza.

I'll keep an eye on it then but without replaygain its a no-go for me. Best of luck :)

Does it support replaygain?

Aye, the search situation is rather dire. I also try to distance myself from big-tech as much as possible, but it is rather difficult if you still wanna live a digital life. I don't feel like going full Richard Stallman, having to enti

Are you under the belief that the US, in which bing, kagi and google primarily operate, has never done anything repugnant? Seems like ignoring that while cutting ties with Yandex because of Russia is a very political move.

Relying on satellite tech belonging to Elon Musk who is now in bed with Trump who wants to annex Greenland? Doesn't seem like a good idea.
